What does a DRC do?
In Oregon, every community and non-transient non-community water system must have a certified operator in Direct Responsible Charge (DRC) at all times. The DRC is the operator the owner designates to make the daily decisions that affect water quality and quantity, and they must be certified at or above the level of each system or plant they oversee. You can meet this with your own staff or by contracting with a certified operator like Sirion. A contract DRC is on call around the clock, and the contract is filed with OHA.
What does it cost?
Fees are based on your system's size and complexity. The assessment and first conversation cost nothing, and you're not billed until your first month of service is complete.
